my little house

my little house is on an houseing estate ,a row of 4 ,faced by 4 more houses and 4 houses on each side
an houseing estate is lots of house,s in a quite small space ,theres a main road runs through the middle
with little roads branching off. not a nice place to live ,high unemployment ,but this is by choice
most people have never worked round here ,and frankly i dont know how they get away with it ,drugs rule the
roost here and nice people have to be on there gaurd for theft and robbery ,3 house directly connected
to our block are occupied by drug abusers ,when we go out shopping or leave the house in general ,theres
always someone hanging around ,either buying or selling drugs ,very intimidating even for a man ,let alone
kids or women ,we dont go out at night for fear of being burgled ,they play there music loud ,and ride there
off road motorcycles up and down at all hours of the night ,rubbish is dumped on the street and other not
very nice things ,my car has been broken into twice and all my tools stolen ,the good thing is that the decent
people get on we,ll and apart from the anti social behaveour,we have nice niehbours,once as i was going out
in the car one of the druggies shouted me and asked if i knew anybody who wanted to buy a ferret ,i walked across
and asked to see it ,the ferret was locked in a coalhouse with no light ,when i picked it up it bit me straght away
i asked the kid what he wanted for it ,a tenner 10 pounds ,the ferret came home with me ,and is called billy
when in the garden billy would attack anything moving or not ,but with a lot of hard work he is now a loving
little creature ,and lives with henry and boris ,we have always wanted to move from here but have never been able
to afford to ,so we make the best of it ,i have a good secure fence and the gate is lock when darkness falls
this is my bit of england and if anyone comes over that fence ,they wont stay long .i have 2 large trees in the
garden and i feed the birds regulary,we have robins and doves that visit the garden ,and a buetiful hawk,that
comes to feed on the poor sparrows ,it is nature though and he has to eat as well ,hope you enjoyed this

It sounds like dispite all the negative things going on around you, you managed to create a nice little oassis in your backyard. Hopefully we can all create one inside ourselves where we can find peace.

What you were able to do with that abused poor little ferret, to turn it around, shows what a loving, patient, big-hearted person you are. Enjoyed the peek into your place in the world! You do have a nice way with words, friend.
