Sorry for you tummy troubles Ken.

Having IBS is certainly no fun. I have also found that Buscopan works well.

I am in Canada and we can't get it over the counter. Need a doctor's prescription. Always make sure that I have mine close by. Especially when I am in someone else's house. You can hold on, for only so long when out in public.

Can be very embarrassing. Can't it?

hi again monty, sorry to hear you also have the dubious distinction of being in the IBS club,it certainly is very embarrassing and also so draining both physically and emotionally. mine has got so bad that it is a major contributor towards my depression, and of course as it is quite a pychologically related condition it's become a vicious circle. i am convinced that mine is the legacy of 20 years of eating disorders, guess you can't starve and binge for months on end without your digestive system saying screw you... so then i blame myself. oh what a vicious circle indeed!

It is funny that my friends call me a "medical marvel"

After 50 years of abusing my body, it is now giving me what I deserve.

For me the IBS is extremely emabarrassing. Just last year it flared up while I was on vacation. Staying at someone's house, not a hotel.

Never so glad to get home from vacation before.

Since my gas wouldn't make it all the way to England, and yours won't make it all to Canada maybe we could find somewhere halfway. Know there are no island between Canada and England, maybe we could meet on a drilling rig instead.

Take good care of yourselves.
