Postby xn728 » Wed Oct 21, 2009 12:15 pm

i dont know if you all know ,im on sick leave at the moment due to a very nasty dog bite ,(shredded 2 fingers )big bull terrier ,i have previously
been bitten on the stomach ,and this didnt do the ulscer or the ibs any
good ,any way i lost my nerve and new i couldent go back ,i think this is what pushed me over the edge at the weekend ,what with fran being poorly and worrying about money ,i just caved in ,
yesterday morning ,recorded delivery post arrived ,i thought oh god this is the sack ,when i opened it ,the dogs home said that if i were to return to the kennels the stress would be to much ,and would i like to work in one of the retail charity shops near my home .
this is great news and i quicKly accepted ,fran is so pleased ,we can get back into a routine ,and she says i look better already ,i work at a rescue kennals by the way ,i was that exited about telling you all i forgot to type it in
i hope this gives you ALL a little lift ,you deserve it my great freinds ,
im a little concerned the forum has been quiet today ,i hope your ok ,
be brave DONT MAKE ME COME IN THERE ! BYE FOR NOW KEN

^_^ Yay! That's so great that you have something closer to home! Woohoo!!! That's some great news! You had said it before so I remembered & that's why you were in the garden.

OKAY!

Thank you for thinking of us! Mich, Lisa, Jonathan, [Four]Dave, Davidf, Hollyann, Mysterygal67, violetlight, Atheist, aim, Monty, everyone where are you all? I hope you all are doing okay! (Warmie too!)

-------

Oh ya.... Um... Is it okay to ask: What do you grow in the garden? Would you have any tips for planting?

There have been some things I've been meaning to try growing.... It's just that I usually end up killing my seeds/saplings by watering them too much (so I haven't tried again in a while).... T.T

If the plant is already big enough, I usually do a good job, though.

Sometimes, I'm trying to grow things that isn't really for my climate, but I'm willing to try again.... I really wanted to grow some tea plants & vanilla planifola again some time.... I might have to put them in the fridge this time....

Hiya ken, i'm really pleased to hear your good news,so you still have a job but it will be less stressful, and charity shops are great - i shop almost entirely in them - you find such great random odds and ends and you know the money is going to a good cause. as staff you get first pickings on everything and usually a discount!! i have had good luck with work too,am just doing a few hours monday to thursday with fridays off to go to my group! best of all they are keeping my full-time job open for if/when i am better. how is fran doing?

((((((((((((((((((( Ken ))))))))))))))))))))))))

Blessing do find us, when we least expect it. Think that has happened with you and your employment. Hope the hand is healing. (((((((((((((( Fran ))))))))))))))) thought a gentle hug might cheer her.

Do take care...
