Hi everyone,
For the past six weeks, I've been keeping a simple daily record to see whether my sleep schedule affects how I feel the next day.
I wrote down three things each morning:
What time I went to bed.
How many hours I slept.
My mood from 1 to 10.
After 42 days, I noticed something interesting. On nights when I slept between 7 and 8 hours and went to bed before midnight, my average mood score was around 6/10Drift Hunters. When I slept less than 6 hours or stayed awake past 1:30 a.m., it dropped closer to 4/10.
I know this is only my own experience, and there could be many other factors involved, but the pattern has been consistent enough that I'm wondering whether anyone else has noticed something similar.
Have any of you tracked your sleep and mood over several weeks? If so, did you notice that the amount of sleep mattered most, or did keeping a regular bedtime seem to make a bigger difference?
I'd really appreciate hearing about other people's experiences rather than medical advice. I'm mainly curious whether others have noticed a similar pattern in their daily lives.
Has anyone tracked how sleep timing affects their mood?
