Hello from me

Postby Mynewlife » Tue May 05, 2026 11:49 pm

Hello, been going through anxiety which I am doing better realizing I have my life ahead of me. I believe it was from my past and realizing I was hiding things not wanting to come out about it. I was hanging with the wrong crowd with ex friends being a negative influence on me and luckily this did stop when I was 23. Luckily I have good friends in my life that have supported including my parents. Being an only child growing up, my parents seen it too. After I parted ways with those so called friends that were a negative influence, rethought everything and decided to get the help. First therapist I saw I had the anxiety issues right away and hiding things in the closet. Finally I realized there was another side of me that wanted out so bad. Came out to my parents I had another side of me at 23, a female side of me that wanted out so bad which I was hiding. Good thing is they have been supportive of me crossdressing fulltime as a MTF crossdresser seeing I have my life back. The anxiety was fear of them rejecting me and they reminded me they love me no matter what wanting to see me happy as my true self. Saw they were right and still are to this day

It also sounds like therapy helped you unpack a lot of what you were holding inside, which is not always an easy process. Realizing there are parts of yourself you’ve been suppressing for years can be overwhelming, but it seems like you’ve taken steps toward being more honest with yourself, which is important. sprunki

I’m glad you’re in a place now where your anxiety feels more manageable and you feel closer to living as your true self. That’s not something everyone gets to experience so openly.
