Going Through Slumps And Stuff

Here it is in October. I had a post about summer depression, but here summer is still going. It's not as hot now and the noises have simmered down only a little bit. But there have been recent days when noises at where I live are unbearable. Normally, October tends to be my favorite month and a kind month. So far, it hasn't been.

Lately it seems like there's bad news and disappointments. One after another. Nothing good has happened to lift me up. I recently had a financial setback that I didn't know was coming. I can't afford a financial setback. And bad things are happening to other people I know of. No one's is helpful to me through it. All they do is criticize.

Fortunately no. It's during the day. I stay into my place most times and the noises bother me.

Sorry if I focus too much on the noises, but I think that's where I have something to say. What kind of noises are disturbing you?

Pretty much all kinds, but at where I am it's a lot of power tool noises. Like remodeling work and there's construction nearby. It's those kind of noises.

That kind of noises, and those of heavy vehicles in traffic, are usually the worst, in my opinion and experience.

Do you go out every day?

I don't go out much. I'm on a fixed income (by the way, in my post, I mentioned my financial situation) and getting out on long drives to get away is expensive. I know that things need to be fixed up and it's going to create loud noises. But when it happens, it feels like I'm being evicted out of my place. It would be easier if I could close the door and windows but it's too warm for that now. Hopefully it will be over soon.
