Video Games (Occasional)
It's more than time I put this here!
I was playing Zenses last night when I couldn't sleep & amazingly, it really was relaxing...
Zenses is for the Nintendo DS/DSi console & it is puzzle-oriented... It is supposed to be a bunch of relaxing puzzles that you can complete. It's great!
When I went into Kmart, it was like about $5 or $10.... BUT IT IS GOOD, especially if you love PUZZLES! It's really nice & interactive & the background is beautiful (ocean)... There is another one I haven't popped in yet... It should have like rainforest backgrounds, but I'm sure it will be good!

I finally did finish Legend of Heroes (PSP)! The last boss was pretty bad@ss, I'll say!! I'm not usually wowed by last bosses.... or game endings, but not bad!!
**Although it's the 1st title on the PSP, it's the 4th game in the series....
I'd love to play it again, but it was already too tiring!
Final level = 43 <----What a long time it was to get there!
I was finally pleased with my strategy for the game this time. I didn't miss any major items.
I'll beat the last boss 1 more time.... to see if I get a new game + or an unlockable or something....

Hobbies are a great thing to have, crystal. I like to read and do crossword... very bad association here with video games in general, but I do occasionally pop in some old Nintendo like Tetris and Super Mario Brothers! Yes... I actually have a Nintendo 64 here at the house! Incredible, huh?
Keep playing your games I say. Anything to take our minds off of some of the more difficult realities we face is a very good thing.

Let's see.... I finally beat Legend of Heroes II: The Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch and got 100% completion!!
I am SO happy about that.... In the previous game, Legend of Heroes: A Tear of Vermillion, only 99% history was possible because the last entry comes at the end of the game after beating the final boss. The problem with it coming at the end of the game is that new game + feature had been removed in the US version, so I'm glad that little issue was fixed in the following game.
And so.... I started playing Legend of Heroes III: Song of the Ocean. ~LOL~ It's quite an addictive series....
There was something noteworthy in Legend of Heroes II. I can't remember which chapter it's in, but at some point, you reach a town called Dice (notorious for its casino). South from Dice is Dartu/Dart, which is plagued by a poisonous swamp.
When you go to the town, everyone is very badly depressed, hopeless and in despair. As you talk to the villagers, you can read their admittedly [self-defeating and negative] thoughts.
I was just amazed by how depression was shown. If you have problems reflecting and so on, I thought it was a great eye opener. There was no way to miss it (I thought).
