THIS HURT

This hurt inside hurts so much,
This hurt can't be healed by a gentle touch,
This hurt is not known to anyone,
This hurt cannot be undone,
This hurt is so painful.

This hurt is a secret that I can't tell,
This hurt is hidden in a dark shell,
This hurt caused by words so hard to hear,
This hurt when nobody was near,
This hurt is so confusing.

This hurt has been a little test,
This hurt has made me use my best,
This hurt has made me go that extra mile,
This hurt will last a little while,
This hurt will make me grow.
