Night Time

Darkness overwhelms
The sky's turn a teal blue
Orange and pink appear for only the second time today
and maybe some clouds too.

Heat dissipates.
The sun dyes down
The moon comes up
And cold seeps into the town.

Some animals turn in
Some animals turn out
Prey fears as predators lurk
As sheep are count.

This is the night
Let your dreams be good
As the Furnace burns bright
As your life should.
