I have been scattered around

Remnants of memories left behind

Stored away in boxes

And empty shelves

Lost in time

I stand in this bare room

Smell the aromas of youthful past

And sob in its divisions

Unable to claim the pieces

Until the moments of scattered fragments disolve.



I will belong

I do belong

I deserve to belong



As I meander forward

My heart becomes a brief amount of time

Pondering safety inside myself

When feeling unsafe and confused

In many new worlds

Bounded

Divided

Within blurry and forgotten faces

Within time
