You'd Think I'd Know Better

Trying to be cool and glib and I ended up saying something really asinine. Perfect example of "funny in my head" but not out in the real world. I had to really work hard to get through the OCD "looping mind tape" of "I'm so stupid.... why did I do that? You really ARE an ass."

I had to convince myself it was a "mistake." As in, they happen, man. Get over it. Move on.

I think I have, mostly. Waiting for the rest of me to catch up...
