I got a meat cutters apprentice job recently and may be losing the apprenticeship over having depression.

Weird how cyclical these things can be and feel. I'm depressed because I am not doing good for myself and then lose my job because of it. Is this irony or some omnipresence asking me why I am trying?

What you describe is a variation of the untimely waves of stress, disaster, and pain of what we call life. Sometimes others have it like kings, and others have it as a lifetime of struggle, torture, lifeless yet still alive. The grey area between is where many are, and we have the things we deal with. Yet, we keep going. I believe our attitudes/perspectives can give our lives a "boost" even for the ones who have "nothing".

Keep at it, there may be a corner you turn and you find what you need.
