Chaos in the trees...
Latch on tight-those tender leaves.
Singing cicadas.
Wings like fashioned webs-
Arrayed at sunset. Gleaming.
Summer's noisome hosts.
The trees are ravaged;
A symphony now retreats.
Ushered in is night.

Aww. Thankyou very much, Sara! It's funny how you mention my 'innocent words.' The poetry that's easiest for me to write tends to be sad and bleak; I do a better job in writing THAT particular kind! This time, since I'm writing short poems, (Haiku) I thought I'd mostly describe nature. By the way, Haiku poetry is simply a style of poetry where the first line has 5 syllables. The second line has 7 syllables, and the third line has 5. So, it's a bit tricky in conveying all that you'd wish to say. Also, as you probably saw, I was just plain silly with some that I wrote-- purposefully! Haha. I'ts good to hear from you saragupta.

Sheets of rain. Dark night.
Fever to ride? Indulge me,
Rumblin' beast of chrome.
Tsunami
Transfixed on the coast.
Eying this towering wave!
Dolphins, for me, weep.
Day break
Now, the sun ascends,
For, night has given courtsey-
Gifting her a crown.

Snap; twig under foot
