Iridescent green.
Choppy streams of cobalt blue.
Through, a lone ship drifts.

Romance

Candles, roses, love.
Kisses lit by a sunrise.
Anticipation...

The Unknown

Shadows in the night.
Creepy whispers in my ear.
Hand upon my knee.

(above poem is actually true)

Victorian Gardens

Lights in Summer trees.
Arches entwined with roses.
Paths and statuettes.

Life

Regress to progress...
Years of change; revolving doors.
Altering. Life's path.

Cocoon

Swaddled. Tightly snug.
Home gives way to a new dawn.
Wings- now free to fly.

Quilt

Yet another stitch.
Our years, we'll piece together.
Governed by our hands.

Rain

Heavily flying.
Sheets of silver. Cold as ice.
Needles in my skin.

Sweet Aroma

Swirls of drifting smoke.
Scented plumes of Nag Champa.
Intriguing. Mystic...

Sunset

Pastel hues of pink
Gracing a yellow skyline.
Brightly, 'day' fades out.

Toads

Hopping up the steps.
Shining wet in mists of rain.
Precious, in my palm.

Confused

The question lingers...
I wonder if she's okay...
Never showed today.

Freedom

Breaking through the wind.
Beast of the road. Black and chrome.
Harley nostalgia.

Foreign. Confusing,
And the tears do course my face...
Friends. Like wayward leaves.
