Dear all,
I'm new here and signed up because I'm needing some help. My husband died from suicide last September and I'm afraid I'm not doing very well at all. I'm having persistent thoughts of suicide, now, myself. Friends and family were so supportive in the first few months, but they have all gone back to their lives and I feel as if I'd be burdening them to let on how I'm feeling. I act as if I'm putting my life together, but I'm feeling more alone and isolated every day. I live in a small town with no suicide support group and not many resources to access. I thought that this sort of forum might help. Thank you for reading.
I could use some supportI

Hi and Welcome to the forum. Your story is similar to some others here. Please know suicide is not the answer. Reaching out is. Your husband chose it and it wasn't your fault. But it transfered the pain to you. Just like if you were to do it, it'd transfer the pain to your family. Please don't allow that to happen. You can get plenty of support here, also therapy or grief counseling might help. Will be thinking of you. And please keep us posted.

A warm hug for you, hope you sense it. I agree with all that hollyann typed.
The support here is great. Someday's very busy, others not so much, but the support is there. Please keep that in mind.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, hope that is all right with you.
