Today I am starting a pushup routine from http://hundredpushups.com/ for motivation. Anyone is welcome to join me. The goal is to make 100 pushups in a row eventually. I managed to do 10 pushups so I'm starting with column 2 tomorrow. When I'm no longer in pain from surgery I also plan to start doing 10mins on my exercise bike every day. I want to be able to do martial arts classes again which I haven't done in a year.

Way to go!!! Please keep us posted on how you are doing. Once I get through all the things I am and get the official release from the doctor, I may give it a shot. Know I am going to get back to the walking, that I have missed.

Take care and good luck! :D

My pushups got off to a slow start because of memorial weekend but I did the required 20 plus 10 more for the max. My heart rate seems sensitive today after taking my dog hiking yesterday so I dunno if I'll get to my exercise bike.

My arms hurt but I completed day 2. 33 pushups in total. I'm thinking about starting the 200 situps challenge on the days between pushups but my health problems start in my abdomen. When I compress my abdomen at all my lungs get cut off so they can't expand and my heart rate spikes. No one has figured out why. If I do situps I will have to start carefully.

Please do be careful. Go slowly, even very slowly if you must. Keep a close check on things, your body does talk to you in some manner.

I am proud of what you are doing. Keep posting and me/us know the progress. :)
