I also see the other posts I've made have been deleted as I'm sure this one will be too. Please try to understand that things are not always as they seem. The bad guy is not always the one you think it is.

Hi I'm only 19 (going on 20) and I've had depression most of my teenage years. Don't worry that you're the only young person with depression, I think it's probably because a lot of young people won't go see someone about it. I know I never even thought about it until my boyfriend suggested I get counselling because he saw me in one of my worst parts. Keep your chin up :)

Depression doesn't descriminate. It hits people of all ages. In our chat room we have people everywhere from 16 to 76+

You got that right. Depression started to hit me when I was in the 6th grade.
