my friend is going to die

i just learnt my friend has cancer,an uncurable cancer,this person i would be dating if she didnt live in another city we are very close and she is going to die,i feel horrible and i dont know how i can help her

You can help her by being there for. Even if you aren't close in miles you can listen to her. Encourage her. Try and keep her spirits up. I dont know where you are, but there is something called Cancer Treatment Centers of America, that help people when other doctors have had they said they have no hope. Maybe recommend that your friend looks into them? Part of the battle with cancer is trying to stay positive.

thank you for the advice, i dont know i love her and never lost someone close to me so this is going to be a new and hard experiance for me

she always suffered with depression aswell but i would always joke around with her,that would make her feel better now that just wont work,if she knows she is going to die soon then its not easy to comfort her pity she is an athiest because then i cant comfort her with the thought of an afterlife thank you for your reply though

This is something i could never think of dealing with ,,,you must help your freind and love them ,it will be so hard and the strentgh you will have to muster will be beyond anything we can imagine ,,walk this road with your freind while she makes this journey ,she will feel special if you can do this for her ,and
if you give her the love and encourigement during this time ,she will feel a warmth and kindness she will carry with her wherever she goes ,and i hope you dont mind me saying this ,,if you can still make her laugh a little do,it ,,we can only offer kind words and support here ,but it s here if you should need it hugs for you and your freind ((((((theswayy and your Freind))))),,,,,lots of love ,,xn728 ken xxxx
