Depression/Instability + The Girl Thing (Trigger?)

I really wondered: Do any other women find that they are more down near the dot's arrival than any other time?
I have no idea how to counter this yet.... However, I am SERIOUSLY NOTICING that I am horribly unstable when that thing decides to show itself.
What I mean is: The only time I really want to kill myself is just before it arrives or is supposed to arrive. That's actually how I know I'm getting a period.
My only thought is: "Jeez. Dang. Isn't there some other way for it to make a grand entrance, without ruining my life in the process?" Maybe the doc will know....

I get the same thing, and also use it as a reminder that I'm about to get my period! Damn hormones. Guess most women have emotional moments around this time, but not everyone has to factor in other problems like we do!

Wowwwo! So there really is something to it! I mean I only figured in irritability, mood swings, & back/abdominal pain (PMS symptoms) but Sui there is a bit much.... (I don't know if that would be PMDD...)
The stuff is so bad I don't know how I am even able to get any thing done!

Before I am about to start I will either get really weepy and cry at the drop of a hat or I will get extremely cranky or both...lol. I will get touchy. Meaning I will talk everything someone says to heart, even when I know they are just teasing me. You can get over the counter meds. for PMS made by Midol. And anything stronger your doctor can provide you with a script I'm sure. Nothing to worry too much over. It is a fairly normal thing (most woman have symptoms like this I'm sure) and is very treatable.

Okay.... I wanted to give an update on this....
I have seen an improvement ever since I started taking the heart medicine! Is this too good to be true?!) I will check next month.... & the month after that....
I did have about a week of blah/feeling off, but IT WAS NOWHERE NEAR AS BAD AS IT HAS BEEN IN THE PAST.

I was only largely unmotivated... I did feel a little unstable--but just a little & now that I am trying to focus on myself more & doing things that evoke even just a little happiness out of me.... it really isn't too too bad....
I'm glad for some good news right now.
(I really must ask the doctor how this stuff works, though.... It is a bit scary, I must say.... because I really didn't expect anything to help but it appears that it is doing some good.... )

I do get a little irritable every month, but I don't get a period.... It's not like I want one anyway.... (As far as I've checked, I'm N-O-T pregnant.)
When I take my heart medicine properly, I don't really have too many problems.

Man.... It was one rough past week.... Goodness gracious... I'm really going to have to find a counter measure for this because I do suspect it's dot-related. Taking my medicine like I should worked to an extent, but not as much as in previous times.
I didn't have S-thoughts per se; I just felt so horrible, especially in terms of mood (& some dull aches + pains). Today is the 1st bit of normalcy/calm, since the past 5 to 7 days....
& so, I'm just taking it easy for now. I will see what develops with this whole situation....

sorry it was such rough going for such a kind hearted person hon. I really can't offer advice about meds and the period because i had a hysterectomy in my early 20's. wow. more than half my life ago. i don't think i was on any meds back then either. I do hope you and your doc figure this out and find some relief for you

Thanks Obayan! (You're such a sweetheart.)
Following my Dad's wisdom, I drank some Spanish thyme tea (three mugs full that hold 4 cups each) and the gripes are pretty much gone now. It does come back after a few hours, but even then, the pains are not as bad as what they were.
& so, now I'm considered trying to grow a piece in a pot so I can have it upstairs with me....
I can get back to cleaning now, even though I don't really want to do anything much right now. My dad is gung-ho about it, so I will try (because it would be good to finish what I started.)

Yes exercise is good! Get released from surgeon in two weeks, and back to my walking for starters. Missed it, two years of not being able to do that, ugh, didn't like that at all.
You go girl! Make me proud.

Well.... I will announce it here....
Something may be wrong with me.... I have been bleeding on & off for about 3 weeks to a month now. I figured that it was my period, but it has gone on way too long.... I have spotted before but not like this & the weird part is that every time I think it's gone, I find out otherwise.
Sometimes, it gets off to a rough start.... It's also irregular. I don't know what to feel.... (What am I hemorrhaging?!) I guess it's time to go to a doctor.... Ugh....
Maybe I will brew some tea sometime later.....
