The Water Works

Postby crystalgaze » Sun Jan 24, 2010 8:12 am

I have been a bit teary-eyed lately... It happens on a dime....

My eyes have been watering quite easily...

(I'll have to figure out this one soon...)

umm teary eyes, i have teary eyes because my eyes are sensitive, especially to light. Also, my eyes get teary very easily. But if your teary eyes are your tears (meaning that you are crying), maybe it is a good thing, it helps to let go all of your emotions. Hope things are well with you my lovely friend, love you a lot

(((((((((Crystal)))))))))) I empathize as sometimes I am especially tearful and cry at the drop of a hat...not always, but usually, I feel better after a good cry though...kind of like exercise, can be miserable doing it but afterwards feel good and better for you in the long run...so don't try to hard to hold it all in let it out as you can...

*hugs*

Yes they have lessened a little! I guess I was just going through a tough time & didn't realize it! There are still tears, but they are tears of joy now more.

(Laugh & end up crying, etc.)

Caught Off Guard

Postby crystalgaze » Sat Feb 13, 2010 10:34 am

Today was a different kind of water works...

I wanted to bawl.... but I would not let myself.... (I guess not allowing it didn't help.)

I think I may have had a bad break[down] today. I'm not sure how to gauge it... On a scale of 1 to 10, it was a ?! or ???.

This cry that attempted to bury me was what I call an unstable cry--the kind that involves extreme, possibly even damaging, emotions.

I didn't feel I could let this one out right now.

When it attempted to flow out of me, the thought from my inner self was: "I AM READY TO SUICIDE TODAY!"

Simply put, I was spooked by it.

I have been feeling especially overwhelmed in the last few days. Also, I was triggered today by my mom, & I do feel I have no one to turn to in the end.

My pulse was a little off & my right eye was trying to twitch. (I keep forgetting to tell the doctor about it. ~lol~) One thing to remember at a time. ;)

Really sorry you're feeling so down.
You are entirely right about taking one thing at a time. That's what I keep telling myself. If you're having difficulty remembering everything you want to say to your doctor, you might perhaps try something that I do. When I see my GP, or psychiatrist, etc, I jot down the key points I want to raise on the back of an envelope, and then refer to it during the consultation. That allows me to have a clear " agenda " for the consultation, and stops me from thinking " I forget to tell them this, or that, or the other.
As a man I'm not really an authority on crying, but I suspect that even men cry more than they let on. So, I'm not sure if deliberately not crying is the best idea. Again, it's not really something that I know about. Sorry!

Today was a hard day...

I did feel like crying, but I didn't. I did feel S + H but didn't entertain those thoughts. I have tried to uphold a belief that I have been retraining myself to accept: not to attempt S, due to anyone.

If I get to that conclusion, due to my choice, that's 1 thing. But to get there because of somebody else is a no-no in my book.

I have suffered some pain in the last 2 days--today & yesterday--that threaten to make me cry or have a heart attack. I am working with it, as much as I can.....

I may try to go out a little later.... (I don't know....) I have made up an legitimate excuse to go over by my cousin (computer stuff).... I may get comfort there...
