((((Monty girl))))) Sinus infection - ugh!! I get those and they are HORRIBLE. PAINFUL. The WORST. Just keep up with the antibiotics, the good thing is they go away pretty fast. All of the exhausting, lightheadedness... can all be attributed to that.

Your brother really is a piece of work! Is there anyone else who can help you? Your children, maybe? I'm sure if they knew how you were struggling, they would be more than happy to lend you a hand. Just an idea.

Hang in there, Monty girl. We're all here with you. We're all here pulling for you...

((((((((((Monty))))))))) so so sorry your brother is being such a jerk! Since he is "too busy" I suppose making money to help with your mother, can he use some of that money to hire someone to give you a little relief once in a while since caretaking is obviously taking an increasing toll on your physical and mental health? Worried for you...I know how stressful caretaking can be and don't want you to sacrifice yourself to the point of destruction...

Thinking of you and hoping for some healing of the illness and a little peace...

Please tell your brother something has to be done before you go further down...please?

Thanks for all who responded to my last post.

Am feeling a little better today. Though I did have a poor sleep. I think that I did something funny with my meds last night, and didn't take the right ones.

Yet another nightmare last night. It is odd that I never used to dream (or thought I didn't) but now I am dreaming pretty well every night and most of the time they are not pleasant.

Am trying to get more home care for my mom. She has always been, well we can say frugal, and is bucking paying for the care. She doesn't seem to realize that if I am not home, then she is just sitting in front of the tv or reading (even though it seems that she never changes the page anymore). That makes me as being the person that she sees during the day.

She needs to see someone else, and I need to get out of the house.

Mom just got a phone call from my brother and it sounds like he is picking her up after 4. He will return her to the house by 7.

I need a life.

crystal,

Feeling some better these days. My stomach has settled down.

I am also taking my meds earlier, getting home earlier (get very drowsy) and with all that, seem to be having less of a med hangover in the morning.

I go to see the ear, nose and throat specialist this week. Hopefully they will be able to fix the back of my nose. I have had surgery for that before. Don't really want to do that again. I do not go under well. When I was having my ECT they had to put the oxygen mask on only part of my face. Have extreme claustrophobia.

Better sign off for now. Getting close to my bedtime. Quite pleased with myself for getting my Sykpe account going. My children live out of town so should be a cheap way to talk to them.

Sleep well

Turns out that I have sinusitus so am on, yet another round of antibiotics.

Will be a continuing problem so am supposed to rinse out my nose a couple of times a day to try to clean things out.

Still haven't talked used my Sykpe account again yet.
My son is busy during the week but I am sure that we will talk again. He was the one that made me a grandma so I will be able to see my granddaughter over the computer.

Will try to catch up on some of my posts today. Feel well enough to sit down at the computer for an hour or so.

((((Monty))))
Glad you are on track to feeling better. I'm not familiar with the detail of the relationship with your brother, but I can understand the frustration. I have been estranged from all 3 of mine for years. They didn't care either when a close family member was old and ill. The way I look at it though is we all have to live with our conscience. Try not to worry (but we always do anyway) you're stronger than you think :)

Take Care,
Misty

((((((((((Monty))))))))) big hugs...so sorry your illness is hanging on so long and I hope this new round of anti-biotics knocks it out.

Congratulations on being a grandma!!!!!!!! I hope you can see your grandchild over computer very soon. Exciting.

With the caretaking, it is no wonder you have become more depressed again. I do hope you can get some help soon.

Meanwhile, I am thinking of you and here listening...

Wishing you light and peace in your day and some healing...
