Chasing a Lonely Tree

I've been chasing a lonely tree the last few weeks. I saw it as I was going to work one day. It flashed by as I was staring out the window; then again. Then I started watching for it; hoping to fix it in space. It's difficult, on a section of my commute where a lot of things happen at once, merging traffic, multiple overpasses, trucks, and sirens, and horns.
It's growing out of a train track viaduct. Huge stones make up the train bed. The roots of this little tree are hoisting the track bed, many tons of stone, for about twenty feet; jamming itself into the arched bridge. I started riding my bike to work partly to track down this tree. It's view is protected by highway and brush and wires and other trees. It's a little stealth tree tearing the structure apart.
I had wander up and down on both sides of the river to find a shot. The weather is hot and muggy so the image is pretty hazy; but once I've got the angle I'll come in the fall when the air is cool and dry. Or maybe not; it seems to be doing well on it's own. Why disturb it at it's work. The tree and I; I think perhaps we have a shared interest. We both carry a pretty heavy load, were pretty much ignored, and chances of success are pretty low, but the result could be spectacular.
