I feel like my words are useless and I want someone to take care of me. I'm feeling weak and I need encouragement. I need my friends and I'm feeling trapped. I wish I could get onto the chat :(

We all get crummy periods, though I'm not sure about the context of this post... I used to be pretty hard on myself when I had bad days or bad weeks, but I can't be happy all the time and chastising myself over it just made me feel like I was going backwards when I really wasn't.

I try to pick at least one good thing that happened that day, even if it was just making myself a healthier breakfast or finishing some work, and say that I had some productivity. That helps me to track my day and my week with good things. The bad thoughts do nag at me, but I won't stop to deliberately criticize myself even if it means I need to busy myself too much to have time.
