Depression Understood Forums

Hi! I'm new here. Have been on another forum but it wasn't very active. I have suffered from depression since I was a teen. I never went to a psychiatrist until after I was married. I am taking Effexor right now. I do have a terrible fear of outerspace and I think it came from moving from the city to the country. Was wondering if anyone else has this fear? Could sure use someone to talk to about this fear that is knowledgeable and understanding of my unusual fear.

Hi Sensitive22. Nice to meet you. Please feel free to join the chat room too. Does the medicine seem to be helpin any? Have you tried counseling? I don't have what you have but I can see wh it could do that. A city skyline is so much different than that of the country. I may not have knowledge or understanding of this. Hopefully you can find someone who does, but I'm willing to listen as you talk about it.
