hi everyone, especially ken and mich,it really touches me that you both have carried on posting to me so often despite my absence. I feel so guilty for making everyone worry so much but I have been very low and very uncommunicative and isolating. I am tempted to come off the mirtazipine as it is doing nothing for me other than making me want to constantly eat and sleep,it takes me at least an hour to wake up each morning and i have gained half a stone so far (7 pounds), I hate myself. My birthday was quite hard work even though - and almost because - it was a lovely sunny day and I had plenty of cards and presents and Mark took off the day from work to be with me. I just felt guilty that I couldn't enjoy myself. Likewise,spring is coming and the sunlight just feels so incongruous with my mood,almost threatening. I feel so ungrateful and separate from everything that should be happy and beautiful in my life.

I did manage to go to the gig though ken,last friday (5th), Blood Red Shoes, they ROCKED!!!! although they did make me feel ancient seeing as they both appear to be about 20. clearly it is too late for me to break into the world of punk rock,ha ha. you should check out their first album Box of secrets especially the tracks Doesn't matter much and You bring me down (trust me to gravitate to such negative titles!!!!)

I think I'm gonna go to bed. I'm exhausted as ever and finding it really hard to write

((((((Lisa)))))) It is so great to hear from you! I totally understand the isolating and the need to be quiet. I also went through that a little while ago. I am sorry things are not going well at the moment. If the med is not working for you, please go and let your doctor know about it. I need to take my own advice and do the same since my combo is no longer doing anything. Well done for getting out to that gig. I must say, because of you and Ken, I am a little intrigued by this punk music thing and might try to have a listen to those songs over the net. I am totally in the dark about that kind of music but I love music so much that I am always willing to listen to something new. I want you to know that I am still here and caring about you even when you are not posting, so like Ken I will post on your blog even when you are not around. Take good care, love your big sis Mich.
