New Member looking to help others.

Postby eviejay » Sat Feb 16, 2013 7:56 am

Hello everyone :D

I have found this site yesterday, looking on Google to find a website that helps others who go through depression, and also find help for myself when I have my down days.

I am from the UK, and suffer from IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) and also Depression. These illnesses of course limit me in my everyday life. If one isnt bad the other is. I yet to find a day when all three are at bay and give me a rest.

When I am able to have a little bit of fun, I enjoy singing, dancing and acting. Of course with my illness I can only do the singing now, and I really do enjoy it. Music is part of my everyday life.

Well, this was only a quick hello and I hope to speak with you all in the future on other forums.

Be happy,
Stephanie

Hi Stephanie, I'm Stephen and I can relate to what your saying, I'm dealing with something similar (reactive arthritis) so I know that things that are chronic can wear you down, sometimes it takes a while to catch you but after dealing with something day after day and never going away gets frustrating. I'd like to hear from you. Hope things are going ok.

Welcome eviejay to a supportive environment. May I suggest you browse through some of the postings, especially New Member Introductions, to get a feel for who we are, who you can best relate to, etc. Then try chatting.
