Depression Understood Forums

Hi I am a 45 year old female living in south east uk I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia chronic pain syndrome and depression I have separated from my husband but currently live in the same house as we own it and council won't rehouse me I am finding life more and more difficult and don't know where to turn as I have no one to talk to. I have no real friends and my children have there own lives although two still live here they both have partners and jobs. I am unable to work because of my disabilities and am now finding life really tough am hoping for some help here though not sure what kind of help

Hi Patsyella and welcome to the forums. I have known several people who suffer with Fibromyalgia and it is so difficult. I am glad you found this place, you need to find outlets for support and emotional rest. Your situation at home sounds stressful. You might want to check out our Chat room here at DU and see if that is something that appeals to you. Chat is a great resource for people to talk with peers and exchange information. Many find the support and ability to vent helpful. You are not alone here, so please keep posting, take care.
