Depression Understood Forums

Hi Everyone-
I am new here. I decided to join because I am currently going through the worst bout of depression I've ever experienced due to ssri withdrawal. Everyday I feel like I can't face another day, I'm hoping that joining this group will make it more bearable.

I hope that you did not reach the decision to stop taking your medication on your own. SSRI withdrawal can be very serious. Is your Doctor monitoring you? I have heard that it should be accomplished over a certain period of time, which is best determined by your Doctor. Let us know more about what is happening with you. We care.
