hello from texas

Postby marytexas » Sun May 02, 2010 9:01 pm

HI I have suffered from major deprssion about 17-20 years. Mine is is slightly below catatonic if not treated with lots of antidepressants AND Watching my thinking and acting and a monthly reality check with my doctor. every attempt to stop meds has failed. I have opted for quality of life over quanitiy. i have been troubled by external stresses that have made me work all the harder to keep balanced. I guess tonight was too much to do the dishes and looked you up on the internet instead. It was not until today I realized the source of me being agitated has been my younger sister. I put a filter on my internet to block her. On christmas eve I got a call my older sister was dead. I got the call b/c I was the only one still trying to reach her. I waited and expected the call but I know now you are never really prepared.

No Mary, you are NEVER really prepared for the death of a loved one. Even when you know it is coming, it still hits you like a ton of bricks. Hugs.
