This depression actually has the talons like a powerful bald eagle that very frequently plunge into my brain causing confusion, anger, sorrow, pain hopelessness and pitch darkness. I figured that a forum like this would, at the very least, help take the edge.off. My hopes are to get help, give help and ultimately kick depression's ass. I'm glad to be here!

Hello thar!
Hey, congrats to you first of all, for taking the time and energy to sign up to this forum. Second: I admire your courage to come out and introduce yourself. As a person with social anxiety in the mix with depression, I know how hard it is to come out personally and share how you feel with others.
But we are not complete strangers here as we all share something in common.
I'm CourtneyDawn. I just recently signed up to this forum as well. Ive been dealing with depression on and off for about 10 years -- Its become such a constant thing in my life that I barely even recognize me being "sick" -- Its a part of who I am. With that being said -- Its not the best part of who I am. But, I function pretty good most days.
I sincerely wish you the best of luck on this forum, and I hope that this is one tool you can utilize in helping you cope and feel better.
