(((((((((((((wullie)))))))))))))))))

That fear is known to many. I wish for the same thing, and believing, keeping faith, helps me get through those moments.

Nice seeing you posting.

I don't so much have the fear of dying, but I have the fear that I might not be dead when I am dead - like someone might bury me or burn me and I am actually alive, banging to get out. I hate this feeling.

(((((( Wullie ))))))

Death is scary, and so is the unkown. I am not so much afraid of death as I used to be, since I almost died in November 2006... a feeling of peace had come over me, but I knew I just wasn't ready to die... so I kept fighting. Too many things to do - always busy !!! lol !

Wouldn't it be cool if we could just talk to a ghost or spirit and ask them what's the afterlife like?! Lol !

Hugs to all :)

I am so thankful you fought, and are still fighting.!!!!

Losing the ones I have, I know that they seem to have found some sort of peace, and finally all was right in their world.

Guess it is like entering a dark room, the feel of fear nipping at you, but, someone turned the light on for you and all was well.

Stupid comparison, I know.

Take care, please

I guess I have a fear of death or rather death by drowning. I've always had an irrational fear of the water but it only got worst when I went swimming, paniced and ended up face down, floating in the water. My doctor told me later that if I had been in the water a minute longer I wouldn't be alive today.

My other fear of death would be death by fire. That terrifys me. Maybe even more then drowning.

And for all of those wondering if I saw a light at the end of the tunnel when I lost consciousness. I hate to disappoint but no, I didn't. However, in the few moments of unconsciousness I felt the kind of peace I never felt in life. It was the perfect peace. No pain. No worries. Would I kill myself to regain that peace? NO!! Life is precious. I just consider it a preview to what I'll have in Heaven.

Think it the 'unknown' that bothers us, well me at least. Trying to stay and see positive is a good way to deal with it.
