Reminder to those in U.S.

Postby Warmsoul/Jeanie13 » Thu Mar 11, 2010 9:42 am

This coming Sunday, March 14th is the time to turn clocks up one hour. For those that have to do this.

"Daylight Saving Time"

Consider yourself warned! LOL

Saturday, March 20th, official first day of Spring. About time, I say. Plant some flowers or a tree. :D

I think that I wrote this before, hopefully I am not repeating myself.

The time change thing always causes a lot of discussion in the province the I live in.

We do not "spring forward" or "fall back". The entire province is on Central Standard Time all year round.

When it comes to the time when all of the rest of you change your clocks, our talk radio shows inevitably spend an hour or two on the fact that "we should change our clocks, twice a year".

They pull out all of the usual reasons, twice a year.

For me I don't mind that we don't have the Monday morning problem that they say plagues those places that change. The fact that car accidents are way up on the Monday following the weekend of the time change.

We just have to get used to our television programs being an hour earlier which isn't that serious to me.

((((((((((((((( Monty )))))))))))))))

We use to remain the same, but a few years back it was changed. I hate having to do that. Seems silly to me, but guess there are reasons behind it all.

I know for those in England, you turn your clocks up on the 28th of March, I believe. So heads up to you as well.
