Your idea of a good friend is still the person who gives you the better of the two choices,

holds your hand when you're scared,

helps you fight off those who try to take advantage of you,

thinks of you at times when you are not there,

reminds you of what you have forgotten,

helps you put the past behind you but understands when you need to hold on to it a little longer,

stays with you so that you have confidence,

goes out of their way to make time for you,

helps you clear up your mistakes,

helps you deal with pressure from others,

smiles for you when they are sad,

helps you become a better person,

and most importantly - loves you!

Remember:
There's never a wrong time for telling your friends how much you respect and love them.

I post in the Corner, try to share a laughter or two. No one has to read. I read and bring things I find here, I don't write them.

What happened in the past is just that. No one is a black sheep. Blame me if that make them happy. The matter is closed.

From a person that never used to touch anyone (my children are both over 25 and it has only been over the past couple of months that I will sign my notes mom).

I am quite proud to say that everytime I say goodbye to my close friends, I hug them hard and usually whisper I love you in their ears, as if that is the last time I will ever see them.

I also sometimes tell them (though they know this already) that this time that I am hugging them, means as much (or more) as the first.

I love reading your postingsm Warmie. Often clears up a gray day for me.

All is well here. Was gone a few days, not by choice. Utility company was doing things, changing meters, etc., and I had to keep the computer turn off and unplugged for the power surges could have blown it.

All is safe now, so back I am.
