I like Harry Truman. I read a book entitled Harry Truman, that had this quote attributed to him. He was standing at the back of a stopped train doing a whistle stop tour in his hopes to be re-elected as President of the USA. One of his listeners Said: "GIVE 'EM (The Republicans) HELL HARRY.

Truman answered: --- I don't give 'em Hell. I just tell the truth and they think they're in Hell.
