I'm sure many people, including some well respected psychiatrist's will not agree with the following statement, but nevertheless, I believe that it is absolutely true.

Giving someone a neuroleptic drug, (an SSRI etc.), is like giving someone a fish for supper. Giving them valuable psychological insights is like teaching someone to fish.

(The trick is to find someone who can give you valuable psychological insights.)
