Thanks Stephen.

A conservative is a man with two perfectly good legs who, however, has never learned to walk forward.
-- Franklin D. Roosevelt, radio address, Oct. 26, 1939

There is something that is much more scarce, something rarer than ability. It is the ability to recognize ability.

What is an epigram? A dwarfish whole, its body brevity, and wit its soul.
-- Samuel Taylor Coleridge

Her own mother lived the latter years of her life in the horrible suspicion that electricity was dripping invisibly all over the house.

I can see the sliver in your eye, but I cannot see the two by four in my own.

The Cockle Bur (I don't know for sure what those three words mean but I think it was some kind of group or maybe a person from long ago in Ireland.) Does anybody know what --- The Cockle Bur --- refers to :?: :?:

Cockleburs (Xanthium) are a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae, native to the Americas and eastern Asia.

Hello Warmsoul/Jeanie13:

"Turquoise blue" --- Hello to you too.

Obviously, (I believe) you are referring to the color of the flower. Since a flower cannot be the author of a quote, I think the expression Cockle Bur probably is different from the flower called Cocklebur. Thanks for including that information though, I wasn't aware that there was such a flower with that particular name.

Here's another quote that I like very much.

"The paradox of course is that you can never have
enough information. But you cannot gather information forever."

(Priscilla Elfry)

My comment --- (Ultimately you must act.)
