Thank you Stephen.

I have found the best way to give advice to your children is to find out what they want and then advise them to do it.

The greatest use of life is to spend it for something that will outlast it.
-- William James

Beware when the great God lets loose a thinker on this planet.

Me too, also like this one:

The greatest use of life is to spend it for something that will outlast it.
-- William James

If we could manage that, how great that would be.

Feel the same way.

I always read the obituaries. Not for morbid interest but because I feel that it is paying respect to people that are no longer with us.

I have clipped out one that I think is what I would like to be written about me when I go.

Not morbid, for you know people, not in touch for years and then, you see that. Shocks you, doesn't it?

My obituary should be short, born, died.... the in between works itself out.

Figure the ones that knew me, will have some sort of memory, those that don't, well no big lost.

" Figure the ones that knew me, will have some sort of memory, those that don't, well no big lost. " "No big lost "? I would have to disagree with you there, (((( Warmie ))))! :)
If there are, in truth, " too many people, and too few human beings ", then I'm certainly glad to have gotten to meet a real " human being " such as yourself! :D

Dang it, you have me crying! Thank you for those kind and touching words. Less I say right now, the better for myself. You will never know how much your words have touched my heart.

((((((((((((( Obayan )))))))))))))))

Thank you! Just not to many lifting of that glass :)

I'm glad that I could brighten your day! :D
I can truthfully say that I meant every word of what I said. I've met a number of people from time to time who are not hostile, rude or even overtly unkind, but are simply rather indifferent to me. I'm not at " their table ", they have processes to run, costs to cut, they're pre-occupied with " business needs ", making random, " untidy " people fit into their perfect, smooth-running processes...etc. People like this always make me feel as if the world is a rather cold, emotionally-empty, mechanistic place.
So, having met people like that, I appreciate all the more meeting " human beings " like yourself who do care, and will listen, and do contribute so much to this site!!!!
You are just waaaay cool, deal with it! 8)

Thank you so for brightening my days. You truly do.

Oh and the secret is out that you are the one that is 'way too cool', didn't you know?
