I treated myself to a small steak, turned a bad day into a nicer one.

Is my birthday today. Am going up for supper.

I love steak but don't often order it in restaurant (usually my idea of eating out is McDonalds or A&W). Tonight someone is taking me out for supper and I think that is what I am going to order.

Usually wimp out and order cheapest thing on menu when someone takes me out.

I'll let you know what I choose

Thanks for the birthday wishes.

Turned out that I had a nice birthday.

Did go out to a "more expensive" restaurant and had my steak.

A very good meal. The steak I ordered had a light blue cheese sauce over it. I wouldn't hesitate to order that again, but I will probably have to wait until my next birthday.
