"Is the man of house home?, they asked.
"No" she replied. "He's out at the moment."
"Then we cannot 't come in," they answered.
In the evening, when her husband came home, she told him of the three men and the conversation. "Go tell them I am home and invite them in again." The woman, found the three men, still sitting outside, and invited them in.
"We do not go into to the home together.', they replied. "Why is that?", she asked.
One of the old men explained: "His name is "Wealth" as he pointed to one of his friends. and pointing to the other, "His name is "Success" and I am "Love". Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home".
The woman went in and told her husband what was said. The husband was overjoyed. "How nice! Since that is the case, let us invite "Wealth". Let him come in and fill our home with wealth!"
His wife disagreed. "My dear, why don't we invite "Success"?
At this moment, the daughter, listening from the other room, added her suggestion. "Why not invite "Love" Would it not be better to have our home filled with love?"
Following his daughter's reply the husband turned to the wife and said: "Please go outside and invite "Love" to come into our home". The wife went out, asked which one was "Love". As he rose, she invited him to be a guest in their home.
As "Love" started walking to their home, "Wealth" and "Success" rose and followed him. Surprised the wife asked "Wealth" and "Success", "I only asked "Love" into our home, why are you following?"
The old men, replied together: If you invite "Wealth" or "Success", the other two of use would remain outside. Since you invite "Love", we follow, for where ever he goes, we go as well."
