In the small town that I lived in, Halloween was always royally celebrated. We knew all of the kids that would come to the door and it was great fun.

All we are hearing on the news is about the H1N1 flu and how to protect our children from getting the virus from their Halloween candy.

I was never the one to do the carving of the pumpkin in my house. A couple of years I did cook with the guts, but that one didn't last too long.

Probably their won't be too many kids coming to the door. Mom used to get over 100. Now I think it will be more like 25. They are really pushing Halloween parties for the kids at the schools in the evening. It is sad that we can't send our kids out a night, and be sure that they are safe.

Looking forward to getting the chance to see your pumpkin Ken.
