For Moderators: Is It Okay If I Am In The Chat Room?

Hopefully this is the best place to put this. I've been coming to the chat room for several months as SongOfRoses777. Here's my story.
I used to be known as foxfire77 years ago and had some other nicknames as well. I was banned (the message I got about my ban seemed to indicate that I was permanently banned) for reasons that were never fully explained to me (except it seemed to indicate that I was simply not wanted in the chat room), years ago. I definitely don't believe I did anything to deserve a permanent ban, but although I tried to file complaints to the site owners afterward, I got no answers to my questions or resolutions to my ban that I know of. However, eventually the ban was gone as I just seemed to be able to come right back into the chat room. I don't feel I've ever "ban-evaded." Although I did use the chat room a few times from library computers during my ban periods; I don't know if that counts, those were a very rare few occasions.
However, almost two years ago when I told one of the moderators that I was foxfire77, I was again banned, this time without any explanation at all. So for almost a year and a half I was banned, until suddenly this year the ban was gone, as I tried to enter the room one day and came in. Since then, I took the name SongOfRoses777 and just had a new beginning.
I've generally tried to be extremely helpful and my main reason in being here is to give support and help. I don't even engage in chit-chat in the main room very much, relatively. I often PM with people who claim to need or want one, and like I said try to be helpful and supportive. I was more immature in the old days, and engaged in some drama (although I don't know why that drama I engaged in would have resulted in me being banned from the chat forever, it never seemed fair; but even so I've been punished thoroughly by spending long periods of time banned). I love this place so much and want to be here and be supportive, and have definitely changed my ways since my younger years. I apologize if anyone who knew me then was offended or insulted by me in any way.
So my question is: is it okay that I'm here? Or if I am supposed to be banned, can I be given a chance first? I like to just be peaceful in the chat room, respect the moderators, and overall just be an asset to the room in any way I can. But I want to have integrity and make sure it's a hundred percent okay that I'm here. As stated, I don't feel I've ever "ban-evaded", and the chatroom simply let me in when I logged on. So it's possible my complaints to the owners were finally heard and I was let back in. But I want to be absolutely sure. Thank you all so much for reading. Have a good day. ~SongOfRoses777
