Depression Understood Forums

after several years of taking my medicine i have tapered off of it and thought i would be better . I was wrong and now i need to get back on the meds cause i am becoming shut down . When i signed up for this website ,they asked what my interests were and i can honestly say nothing . I can not get organized and when i try to find something i want to loosemy mind . Any suggestions on a good med as i was on prozac but am willing to try something else

Hello and welcome to the forums. I encourage you to go back on your meds, and do whatever it takes to keep going. We all respond to medications differently, so no medication will have the same effect on 2 different people. Having the motivation for personal interests is a battle for many with depression. I find I have to force myself to do even minor tasks that I used to enjoy. I hope to see more posts from you, please let us know how you are doing, Take Care
