food question

I have been ill for a couple of weeks. Mix that with depression and I simply cannot eat. Have lost 12 pounds in 2 weeks (don't worry, I am still overweight) I have now lost the ability to keep down solid food and yesterday could not keep down a nutrition drink. YES I know I need to see the Dr but that is not until Wednesday. Does anyone have any tips on easy things to start with or ways I can kick start my appetite?

hey -- when I am not hungry -- maybe ONCE in my life, usually I overeat -- chicken soup always works, even a tiny bit will keep you hydrated (esp. bc of the salt) and the smell doesn't overwhelm. Main thing is to not lose too much water, and if you're taking meds it could be the culprit. Not for me, I only lose appetite when hungover and puking,
