I am so very aware that we are all on our own journey. We each have a path to travel. But that path is not predestined. And even though I am 48, and thus have supposedly accumulated some of life's lessons, it's taken me a while to figure out that life doesn't have to be "this way."
The real truth here is that I don't know squat. Nothing. But, I know what works for me in managing my depression and anxiety. I can not presume that what has worked for me will work for anyone else. But it might.
And because it MIGHT work for someone else, it's possible it might also be worth talking about... Maybe in a different thread?
Be forewarned: it is not about A thing. It's not about a person or a religion. It's really about shifting a paradigm starting with the desire to not let depression "win." Despite this, I WILL talk about specific people (don't worry... Not you!) and I will talk about a "religion" called Buddhism.
I've been on a LONG journey
