Advice Please

Postby SilentScream » Wed Oct 03, 2012 3:03 pm

I am seeking any advice dealing with medications. I need depression medicine but it can't run through insurance or my mom will see it. I need some medicine that will help alleviate the depression and anxiety. Any suggestions? Or anything else that will help without medication.

Living in now is the most powerful way of finding the lost sense of life. Avoiding multitasking; instead, try to concentrate on one single activity and find the beauty and peace in it. Having time and giving time to people, being in peace what is outside, accepting. Never let any task being a means to an end. Instead give it a permission to be worth in the now. Practice simplicity and perception of beauty. Practice gratitude and compassion daily. Concentrate on the good things in your life and on performing uplifting actions towards others.

I would strongly recommend working with a doctor on this. You can tell clinics if you don't want to work through insurance. Usually, they may ask the reason, but if you are 17 or older, should work with you on privacy issues. You may have to pay up front for the entire consultation.

If you are under aged, there is nothing you can do.

Now, one thing that you may not know, is that some specialists that you already go to, will also treat depression or anxiety. One of these specialists are obgyne because post partum and other emotional complicaions from hormonal treatments are a real part of their practice. They are licensed to treat.

So if you don't want to go through a psychiarist, an Obgyne may be your best option. You'll find good results with them, I think. Good luck.
With love :)
