Have you ever had a time that was better? OR different in a good way? What was different about that than now?

I'm not sure where to start. I guess the most pressing thing which caused me to seek out this forum is that this weekend I have lost an important relationship because I was being an insecure, codependent mess. It is so sad that I couldn't communicate with him in a way that didn't reveal my insecurit...
