Depression Understood Forums

Is depression somthing I will have for the rest of my life? Has it always been here I just been younger and more equipped to handle? I don't want to fight this fight if it's only going to come back.

Does anyone else have trouble with this med? I am continuing to take because I want this depression to stop but I can't sleep. I take my sleeping medication Ambien and I still up until 4:00 am then need to wake up at 6:00 for work.
