Re: TW: suicidal thoughts
Think of that letting go like letting go of a hot pot or pan. Letting go can equally be a good thing as it may be a bad thing. In your case you are aiming toward a valuable method to prevent your pains from hurting you so much. Its a balancing act we need to keep up so we can stay more moderate and ...

Slippery Slope
My life is one big petri dish of emotions, revolving around feeling punished/burdened and feeling rewarded/accepted for things that I can't control whether they are admirable or not. If I were to be graded on a scholarly assignment, I would get a C- while not trying hard enough, and I'd get a C+ for...

A Series of Agonising Events
Childhood being the time in life to learn, I certainly learned very many things. Unfortunately, they were lessons in how to prevent as much pain from reaching me. Life was, and still is, a continuing repetition of where, why, and how I hurt. Looking at me and a crippled person, I'll be the happier o...

To speak or not to speak, thats my question.
Life starts out with encouragement to engage and be with people in healthy ways. We start out with things like "hello" "thank you" "please?" then it gets more complicated from there. In my case I'll say things that imply a "I think.." or "Because..."...

Re: TW: Suicide Thoughts
From my perspective, I think both of us are right. (Us vs. those saying "life is worth living" / "You'll be ok, just try to stay happy") I've chatted on the chat room of this site for a while now and have chatted with those who were at the end of their road despite the road keep ...

A Bird's Reflection This little creature I see, I see he’s aware. Strong wings and abundant focus. His heart beats and aches for what's not there. Reflections in this window is his reality. We both seek a healthy future. One that only he is so sure. This paned wall is the world at his cost. He'll ...

The Clash
Our minds seem to have different identities that play in our role of choices made for ourselves. In real time, we question what is worthwhile and what is a waste of our energy. We have a "voice" that tells us what the right thing to do is, but can be overpowered by an urge or obsession. If...

Conversation with a search engine Me: Hey, I need to look up something. Comp: Cool, what are to looking for? Me: I’m trying to find a video that has a white, fluffy cat that meows in a super funny way. Comp: Alright, here is one with a cat, and it's batting at a ball of yarn. Me: Um, no. It is a Whi...

Truth vs. Interpretation - Our Reflection
A bird outside my window A little creature I see, I see he’s alone. Strong wings, and abundant focus. His beating heart aches for what isn’t there. He sees this treasured future, unknowingly disguising a painful lesson. A wall of reflection he thumps into at his cost. Sometimes he gathers a twig, ma...
