Man I have the same feeling oftentimes, especially if there is the girl I like in the group. The only remedy that I've found moderately effective is sinking a bit into your hobby/passion/career, it makes you feel stronger and enables you to think that you do not need to see your friends all the time...

As a male that is rather sensitive, I was in your shoes, and it was my gf that was 'out all day'. I know it is probably all complex and the anxiety is not helping, but try to calmly talk to him about it when you hang out together, but not on the phone.

I know how such anxiety feels, I have a similar problem and feel terrible on daily basis, but there is some force I cannot describe that still keeps me going, I wish you will find a similar strength
