A Girl Named Meth-Poem

Postby benduggan » Sun Apr 13, 2014 12:31 am

Rippling curls cascade loose against a bleeding sky
standing frozen, back arched in animalistic surrender
crystal eyes absorbed in sightless peering
throbbing in the carousal of of thirsty ice,
surrounded by sullen winds and thundering streets
head bowed, nurtured by her velvet nightgown released
a whirlwind of cloth and withered threads nestling imperceptively against
her statuesque restless repose
leaning against thin frigid guard rails
held close by currents tinging oxygen with acid
just another candlelit vigil to a smokescreen sky

her milky spine arches in ginger anticipation
pressing heaving illuminated breasts closer
to the exhausting static of city lights and noise pollution
the guard rail just a weightless ribbon against her waist
she stood on shuddering tiptoes
frost spreading in illuminated currents against
fresh exposed flesh lost in the murky canvas of bottomless night
cloaked starry daggers lacerate
veiled curtains of the cosmos
her stoic reflection a sunken maze
of vacuous pores and weathered folds
against a flowing vacuum's gaping pulse
staring down distended shadows of hollow joints
the nightgown flutters about her savagely
blinding cavernous raven eyes with fire
She glimpses her own reflection
utterly expressionless
watching her fall
